Administrative Assistant

Position: Administrative Assistant

Supervisor: Volunteer Coordinator

Location: YWCA Administrative Offices

 

Purpose: To provide administrative support to the various employees who are based in the YWCA Administrative Offices and to gain insight into the inner workings of a nonprofit organization.

Duties:

  • Assists with various administrative tasks as and when needed
  • General clerical duties including but not limited to maintaining and organizing filing systems, mailing letters, restocking office supplies

Requirements:

  • A proficiency in the Microsoft Suite including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Some degree of computer literacy
  • Strong written skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required

Commitment:

  • 2-4 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months
